Newbury Comics - Rules and Regulations

NEWBURY COMICS, INC./OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
Please read these rules before entering any Newbury Comics contest. By entering the contest you are bound by these rules and represent that you satisfy all eligibility requirements.

THE CONTEST. We assume no risks, liability or costs incurred for anything that you may do in connection with a Newbury Comics contest. We will not be responsible for any legal violations that may occur if you participate in a Newbury Comics Contest. By participating in the contest you expressly agree and consent to play by the official rules and agree to be bound by all terms and conditions, and liability disclaimers, as stated within and as stated by Newbury Comics, Inc. in any other document. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THESE TERMS AND RULES IN THEIR ENTIRETY, DO NOT ENTER THE CONTEST. BY PARTICIPATING YOU ARE DEEMED TO ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

ELIGIBILITY. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. The contest is open only to all legal residents of the 50 United States, District of Columbia, and U.S. Military personnel (and their families) with APO/FPO addresses and are 13 or older unless otherwise stated. Employees are not eligible to win. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Offer void where prohibited by law.

WINNING AND PRIZES Winner will be chosen by a Newbury Comics judging panel.

Winners must pay all applicable taxes on any prizes, however, depending on the jurisdiction prize(s) may be held back pending receipt of confirmation of appropriate taxes being paid.

Winners will be notified by email or social media messaging within 14 days of submission.

We reserve the right to publish the winner or winners' name(s) in all forms of media including but not limited to print, television, and internet - with no additional remuneration to the winner.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded and there is no cash substitution allowed.

GENERAL RULES AND CONDITIONS. We have done our best to create a contest that is accurate. However, we cannot guarantee accuracy in any respect, and the contest is provided "As Is" - if there are mistakes we will not be and cannot be held liable for them. We reserve the right to not award the prizes in the event the contest turns out to have irredeemable errors.

All Official Rules are subject to interpretation and at the sole discretion of Newbury Comics, Inc. All decisions made by Newbury Comics, Inc. will be final.

Spammers will be disqualified and any attempts to hack into the system or breach protocols, will result in immediate disqualification from the contest.

All submissions submitted become the property of Newbury Comics, Inc. Newbury Comics is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries. Nor is any responsibility assumed for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, including but not limited to, malfunctions, human error, lost/delayed/garbled data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, failures of any telephone, computer line, or network, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof.

PRIVACY. You consent to giving Newbury Comics, Inc. the right to use and publicize your name, hometown, photograph and/or likeness, video or film production and publication for the purpose of advertising and marketing associated in any way with the contest without any additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

CONDUCT OF PARTICIPANTS. Newbury Comics, Inc. reserves the right to immediately disqualify any participant who: violates any rule, term or condition of the contest, manipulates the entry process or participates in the contest in a way which gives the participant an unfair advantage over any other participant in a way which is unintended by Newbury Comics, Inc or participates in a way which is disruptive to any other participant which may be seen to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other participant or person.

If you break the law at any time during any portion of this contest you will disqualified immediately. This includes but is not limited to moving violations, trespassing, burglary, larceny, vandalism, assault, bribery, forgery, fraud, computer fraud, tax fraud.

DISPUTES: You agree to resolve any claim, cause of action or dispute ("claim") you have with Newbury Comics, Inc. arising out of or relating to the Official Rules and these Terms and Conditions.

If anyone brings a claim against Newbury Comics, Inc. related to any violation of these terms and conditions by you, or related to your participation in the contest, you agree to indemnify Newbury Comics, Inc. its suppliers, affiliates, related companies and its partners harmless from any and all liabilities, and hold us harmless from and against all damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) related to any such claim.

Newbury Comics, Inc. will not accept responsibility for any claim of loss arising from any technical fault, incomplete, misdirected. ineligible or other damaged submissions.

MODIFICATION OR TERMINATION. Newbury Comics, Inc. reserves the right to modify, delay, or terminate the contest, and/or not award a specific prize, if the contest becomes compromised or corrupted; or should a virus, bot or other event or cause beyond the control of Newbury Comics, Inc. which corrupt the administration, or security of the Newbury Comics Contest. Newbury Comics, Inc. reserves the right to interpret and elaborate upon all rules, and the terms and conditions at its discretion. These interpretations come into effect immediately upon posting at the website. Any interpretations or elaborations will be deemed to be in effect as though they were posted before the contest began. We strongly suggest you review these terms and conditions each time you visit the website

TRADEMARKS. The trademarks, logos, service marks and other names and icons identifying products and services on this site are registered and unregistered trademarks of Newbury Comics, Inc and others.

GENERAL RELEASE. By entering the contest, you release Newbury Comics, participating sponsors, and each of their respective affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agencies from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the contest or with the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries and losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to a or destruction of property, rights of publicly or privacy defamation, or portrayal in a false light). Newbury Comics, Inc. will not be responsible or liable for any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the contest.
